Knightsbridge Shipping and Capesize Market

Knightsbridge Tankers has changed its name to reflect a recent shift that saw the operator part ways with all of its crude carriers. Knightsbridge Tankers, Nasdaq-quoted owner, which now specialises in capesize bulkers, will be known as Knightsbridge Shipping.
Knightsbridge Shipping has revised the domain name of its website to reflect the change but its long-time ticker, VLCCF, will remain the same. "We don't have any tankers. It's as simple as that," chief executive Ola Lorentzon .
Knightsbridge Shipping acquired 25 capes from Frontline 2012 in exchange for shares.
Knightsbridge Shipping, Frontline 2012 and the investment vehicle are all members of an empire led by Norwegian shipping magnate John Fredriksen.
Knightsbridge Shipping will be left with a fleet of nearly 40 capes soon.
