Stowaway died on MV Kota Bunga

One man has died after a group of nine stowaways leapt from a PIL cargoship in Ghana. A group of man had boarded the 27,000-dwt dwt MV Kota Bunga (built 2012) in Takoradi. The men were fleeing arrest when they jumped into the sea.
The ship had loaded a bauxite cargo and was about to head to China. The man who died was unable to swim. Two of the stowaways were arrested.
