Hermann Klein is leaving ER Schiffahrt

Hermann Klein is leaving ER Schiffahrt in February, with Nils Aden stepping up as the new CEO.Nils Aden 41, will be responsible for fleet management, crewing, customer relations, chartering and quality.
Hermann Klein has been with the ER Group for eight years and has been on the board for the last two as managing director of ER Schiffahrt. Hermann Klein, 57, has decided to leave after his three-year contract expires.
Hermann Klein has been CEO since 2012, as well as a managing director of ER Capital Holding.
Hermann Klein oversaw the merger of ER with Komrowski and Blue Star, to form Blue Star Holding, of which he is also the CEO.
ER Group founder and owner Erck Rickers said "Hermann Klein navigated ER Schiffahrt through a challenging time and took it in a new direction. With his expertise, strong leadership and dedicated service, he developed and implemented innovative and future-oriented projects. We thank him for his consistently effective effort and many good ideas."
ER Schiffarht will also have a new director in Isabelle Rickmers, 32, who joined in 2010. Isabelle Rickmers will take on responsibility for new business, key account management and purchasing.
