MV Falkland refloated

Norwegian cargoship MV Falkland (built 1986) has been freed after going aground on rocks on Sunday. 3,600-dwt MV Falkland (built 1986) got stuck off Bremanger while carrying a load of limestone from Trondheim to Sarpsborg.
A lifeboat tried unsuccessfuly to refloat the ship within an hour and a half, and divers assessed the hull.
The ship developed a small list to port. Two tugs later pulled it free and the vessel berthed in Floro. Falkland is operated by Falkeid Management of Finnoy.
