Bulker MV Goodfaith (built 1984) has run aground off the Greek island of Andros and its crew was being evacuated.

22 crew have been brought to safety so far.
27,300-dwt MV Goodfaith hit rocks at the northern coast of Andros at 2334 GMT on Tuesday, according to a coastguard statement. Winds of 9 to 10 on the Beaufort scale were blowing in the area, making it difficult for rescue helicopters to approach the ship. ”There has been inflow of water,” the coastguard said, without providing further details.
MV Goodfaith had been ballasting from the Greek port of Elefsina to Odessa. Star Marine Management is MV Goodfaith's manager and owner.
