Salgaocar of India is believed to be scrapping its only post-panamax bulk carrier MV India Coal Maru 90K built 1995 for demolition domestically. $396 per ldt has been placed on the sale. This would mean a cheque of $5.75m for the owner.
India Coal Maru was the only bulker remaining in the fleet of Salgaocar.
