Vulica Shipping Company, Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of Vulcan Materials Company has signed up with Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry in China to renew its 1980s-built panamax fleet.
Chinese shipyard said the Vulica Shipping had agreed to order two 68,000-dwt self-unloading bulkers.
Panamaxes have been designed by Deltamarin and are 229 metres long, with a speed of 13.5 knots.
Vulica Shipping has two old panamaxes 1984-built 61,000 dwt and 64,000 dwt.
