China Cosco has ordered another deal for 10 new kamsarmax size bulkers.The state-owned company said its Prosperity Investment unit had signed a contract with Chengxi Shipyard for four 81,600-dwt kamsarmaxes worth $188.88m in total. Delivery is expected to be in 2016 and 2017.
COSCO has also signed up for four 208,000-dwt Newcastlemaxes at Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding for a total price of $231.16m. These will be handed over in 2017.
