MV American Spirit bulk carrier grounded at Michigan with 64,800 tons of iron or

MV American Spirit bulk carrier has grounded near Mackinac Island (Michigan) in the US.
MV American Spirit  62,000–dwt  built 1978 -  got stuck on mud and sand on Thursday evening, the US Coast Guard (USCG) said. No injuries or pollution were reported.
MV American Spirit was steaming to Gary Port in Indiana / USA with 64,800 tons of iron ore.
Strong winds pushed the ship. US Coast Guard worked through the night to develop a salvage plan.
