German Nordic Hamburg's managing partner Rowil Ponta arrived in Ananda Shipyard & Slipways in Bangladesh this week to buy two completed cargo ships and stated : "The formalities in this regard are underway". The deal worth around $24m to the yard.
Shipyard's director Tariqul Islam said: "Nothing is final, but we are hopeful of a positive development."
