China, the world's top buyer of sorghum, could import more than 9 million tonnes of the grain in 2014/15 (Oct/Sept), a record volume and more than double the amount in the previous year, according to a revised estimate from an official think tank on Thursday. The China National Grain and Oils Information Centre revised up its forecast from 8.1 million tonnes for the marketing year. In 2013/14 it imported 4.16 million.
