China found buyers for only 0.7 percent of the nearly 5.4 million tonnes of state corn on offer this week, the lowest so far in the year, after Beijing cut the state support price for the new harvest due next month. The government sold 35,861 tonnes of corn at an average price of 2,271 yuan ($356.31) per tonne.
