EDF Man charters in Cape $10,600

EDF Man chartered in 180,000-dwt MV Nymphe (built 2009) has been fixed on an 11 to 15 month charter. A rate of $10,600 per day is being placed on the charter, which is signed by Lykiardopoulou company Neda Maritime at the tail end of last week. This is in line with the present spot market rate for capesizes at $10,700 per day. MV Nymph is one of seven capesizes in the fleet of Nada Maritime, which also has crude and products tankers to its name.
