A capesize bulker controlled by interests linked to Peter Georgiopoulos has been arrested in Singapore. The 178,005-dwt Sparta (built 2010) was detained on behalf of mortgagee bank Deutsche Bank on Thursday, latest court documents show. The claim on the vessel is for $81.2m, according to the documents. Online valuations platform Vesselvalues.com says the ship is worth $24.7m.
