El Nino rains complicate corn loading at Brazilian ports

Heavy El Nino rainfall in southern Brazil is causing problems for companies trying to load large volumes of corn from the world's No. 2 exporter. The Brazilian ports of Santos, Paranagua, Tubarão and São Francisco are responsible for the bulk of shipments from the country's record 2014/15 corn crop, a harvest made more attractive to foreign customers because of the weaker Brazilian currency.
