The Danish shipowner said it had sold the 176,000 dwt, 2005-built Nord Power and it would be delivered to its new owners at the beginning of 2016. Norden is booking a $12m accounting loss on the sale. The company plans to reinvest proceeds from the sale in panamax or supramax tonnage in line with its “focus and simplicity” strategy.
