Distress in the dry cargo market has led Cargill to close the doors of its London shipping office. The trader says the move comes with the dry cargo freight market facing the worst conditions since the 1980s - a situation it expects to continue for the foreseeable future. Business previously handled from Queen Victoria Street, London, will transfer to the Geneva office.
