Australia has rejected a bid by Glencore to regulate prices at the port of Newcastle. The trading giant wanted fees overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, and access to the channels for 15 years. Glencore claimed the port has increased prices for bulkers since 2014 by about 60%.
