Shipbroker Eric Hallman dies at 71

Eric Hallman was co-founder, with Norwegian broker Arne Naess, of the Naess Hallman brokerage, where he also served as chief executive and president. He worked at the firm from 1975 to 1990. Eric Hallman, a Vietnam War veteran who went on to become a high-profile sale-and-purchase (S&P) broker, has died at the age of 71.
New York Shipbrokers were deeply saddened by the news of Eric Hallman.
