Captain of a Swiss bulker MV Aargau was taken to hospital in Bermuda after suffering a fall on the vessel. The Massoel-owned 32,800-dwt MV Aargau (built 2010) diverted to the island on Monday to disembark the master.
MV Aargau’s captain, a 51-year-old Croatian man, had sustained a broken arm and back injuries after a fall. The ship was 175 miles away when they diverted to the island.
MV Aargau was en route from Lake Charles in the US to the Republic of Ireland.
