HHI (Hyundai Heavy Industries)' workers are to vote on strike action in a dispute over pay and conditions. The labour union at the world’s biggest shipbuilder said management had refused its demands during collective bargaining negotiations. Workers will vote on a walk-out between 23 and 26 September.
Any strike would be likely to take place in October. This would be the first industrial action since 1994.
Workers of Hyundai want a pay rise.
