Greek shipowners’ voluntary tax contribution

Between 2014 and 2017, Greek owners are to pay EUR 105m ($132.2m) annually. and total contribution for the period to EUR 420m. In July 2013 the Greek shipowners union agreed with the government to increase their tax contributions for country’s difficult financial situation – for three years.
Total of 478 Greek shipping companies are included in this latest agreement between the Greek state and the shipping community.
