Consultancy Strategie Grains on Thursday raised its forecast of European Union soft wheat exports this season by 2.1 million tonnes to a record high due to strong demand for milling and feed grades. In a monthly report, Strategie Grains put EU soft wheat exports in the 2014/15 marketing season to June 30 at 32.0 million tonnes, above 2013/14 exports that are the current record for the 28-country bloc, but below its February estimate of 32.5 million.
